“There are plenty of obstacles in your path. Don’t allow YOURSELF to become one of them.” – Ralph Marston
I suffer from migraines. Sometimes they are so debilitating I spend days in the dark, afraid to even turn my head, so the vertigo won’t make me lose my balance or, worse, throw up. The throbbing pain in the back of my head drains me of energy and will to live.
I just lay there on the cold tiles near the toilet, counting the hours until my head clears up, until I can tolerate light again like a normal human being. Until mild smells and weak sounds won’t trigger that blinding jolt in the back of my head and neck.
I have a migraine right now. The light of the screen is hurting my eyes I have to squint in order to read the lines I’m typing.
My brain is so foggy I have trouble stringing words together.
Are my sentences making any sense?
This may be a lousy post today, but I’ve promised myself that I’d post something every day. I won’t let anything prevent me from achieving this modest goal.
I won’t become an obstacle in my own path.

Amazing work. We are so much stronger than we think, and often it takes powering through these doubtful moments that make us realise that. Wishing you not an easy life, but the strength to overcome anything!

Thank you, Stuart 🙂 You’re very kind. And no, I don’t want an easy life. I’d rather have plenty of obstacles and overcome them one by one than living comfortably in a bubble and stagnating. Have a wonderful day (or evening), wherever you are 🙂
